About Iberia Trip Toolkit

This site exists because most Spain travel content on the web is identical. Forty affiliate sites copy the same "Top 10 Things to Do in Barcelona" list, recommend the same Sangría recipe, and link to the same overpriced tours. None of them answer the actual questions travellers have:

  • Should I buy a RENFE pass or individual tickets?
  • Is the €12 Menu del Día at that place near the cathedral a deal or a trap?
  • Which side of Sagrada Familia should I book my tower visit for?
  • Is this €45 flamenco show authentic or a tourist conveyor belt?
  • What is the cash situation in Spain in 2026 — do I still need euros?

We build small, focused calculators that turn those questions into numbers. Each tool explains what the result means, where the assumptions come from, and where the limits are. No content farm, no AI-rewritten hotel descriptions.

Scope. The site targets English-speaking travellers planning 3–14 day trips to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands. We cover Portugal only when an answer involves the cross-border train. We do not cover the Canary Islands' tourism tax rules or Spanish business travel.

Limitations. Prices, schedules and policies change. The most recent update window for our data is shown on each tool. Always cross-check with the official provider (RENFE, AENA, Sagrada Familia) before paying.

Who built this. A small team of Spain-based editors and one remote developer. We do not run sponsored tools — every tool is built because we personally needed it on a trip.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. This section covers advertising, cookies, third parties and your rights under GDPR.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect personal data. The tools run entirely in your browser (HTML, CSS and JavaScript are loaded once and executed locally). We do not have user accounts, login forms, or comment systems. We do not place first-party analytics cookies.

2. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

We display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You may also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

3. EEA / UK consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, AdSense will only serve personalised ads after you have given consent through Google's Consent Management Platform (CMP). Non-personalised ads (which do not use cookies for profiling) may be shown by default in some regions. You can change your consent at any time via the privacy icon that Google displays.

4. Cookies this site uses

  • Google AdSense cookies — for ad serving, frequency capping and (where consented) personalisation.
  • Local storage (no cookies) — some tools remember your last input (e.g., chosen region) so the page remembers it across reloads. This is stored in your browser only and is never sent to any server.

5. Third-party links

Some tool outputs suggest external resources (RENFE, Sagrada Familia, AENA airports, festival organisers). We link out for your information only. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — read theirs before submitting personal data.

6. Children's data

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Your rights

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. Since we hold none, there is nothing to delete — but if you have a privacy concern, email us via the contact on the platform listing.
