What this tool does
Spain has the best stadium tours in Europe. Real Madrid and Barcelona have invested €100M+ in their stadium museums (Bernabéu Tour, Camp Nou Experience). They're more than a football visit — they're sports history museums with 100+ years of artifacts.
This tool ranks the available stadiums based on your interests and time, and tells you which one is worth the half-day if you can only pick one.
The five main stadium tours
- Camp Nou — FC Barcelona: Currently undergoing major renovation (2023–2026 — reduced tour access). Barça is the most "tourist-friendly" club. Museum is one of the most visited in Catalonia. ~€30.
- Santiago Bernabéu — Real Madrid: New museum and stadium opened 2024. Most modern, most interactive. Real Madrid is the world's most valuable sports club. ~€25.
- San Mamés — Athletic Bilbao: Basque-only policy club. Smaller stadium, very passionate fans. Tour feels authentic, less polished. ~€12.
- Mestalla — Valencia CF: Old stadium, soon to be replaced. Tour has the "old-school" Spanish football feel. ~€15.
- Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán — Sevilla FC: The most underrated tour in Spain. Passionate fan culture, smaller crowds, decent museum. ~€15.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see a match?
Yes — La Liga matches run August–May, Copa del Rey in winter. Tickets from €30 (upper corners) to €250+ (VIP). Always buy from official channels. Camp Nou and Bernabéu sell out for el clásico.
Is the Camp Nou worth visiting during renovation?
In 2026 — partial reopening with reduced tour access. The Espai Barça museum is open. The new stadium will reopen fully in 2027 (delayed from original plan). Worth visiting but don't expect the full experience yet.
Which clubs have smaller, less touristy tours?
Real Sociedad (San Sebastián), Real Betis (Sevilla), Deportivo (La Coruña), Sporting (Gijón). These are less polished but more authentic. €5–15 entry, smaller crowds.
Limitations
